This Privacy Policy describes how Stradeify handles your personal information. We collect the minimum needed to run the Service and protect it with strong safeguards.
This Privacy Policy explains how Stradeify ("we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our paper-trading and strategy-backtesting platform. Stradeify is an educational simulation — no real trades are executed and no brokerage or exchange is connected. We are committed to collecting the minimum information needed to run the Service and to keeping it secure.
Account information: your email address (used as your login and unique identifier), your display username, and a hashed password managed by our authentication platform. Usage information: the practice sessions, simulated trades, strategies, journal entries (including any chart screenshots you upload), AI feedback results, progress statistics, and duel history you create. Technical information: standard device and browser details and an IP address, processed by our hosting platform for security and service operation. Billing information: subscription status and plan only — your card number and payment details are entered directly on the Base44 Payments (Wix Payments) checkout page and are never seen or stored by Stradeify.
To provide and operate the Service (sessions, charts, journals, duels, progress tracking); to generate AI coaching feedback on your simulated trading; to secure your account and enforce our Terms (including single-session sign-in and rate limiting); to send occasional service and reminder emails if you opted in; to measure the effectiveness of our marketing with Google Ads conversion tracking, only if you granted full cookie consent; and to comply with legal obligations.
Essential cookies keep the Service running (authentication, your session, your saved preferences) and are always active. Optional "full cookies" enable marketing measurement via Google Ads. You choose your cookie preference at registration. If you select "Essential only," no tracking script loads and no marketing cookies are set. If you select "Full cookies," the Google Ads gtag script loads and records conversion events (sign-up, checkout start, subscription, contact) so we can attribute and improve our outreach. You can change your choice at any time by contacting support.
We share data only with service providers that help run Stradeify: Base44 (application hosting, authentication, database, and the AI model used for grading and journal reports); Base44 Payments / Wix Payments (subscription billing — they hold your payment details, we hold only your plan and status); Databento and Polygon (market-data providers — they receive only the ticker symbols you request, no personal data); and Google Ads (conversion measurement, only with full cookie consent). We never sell your personal information.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active so you can revisit your history and progress. When you delete your account, all of your owned records — sessions, trades, journals and screenshots, strategies, accounts, progress, AI feedback, subscription records, and duels — are permanently removed from our database. Aggregated, de-identified market-data caches may be retained to speed up the Service but contain no personal identifiers.
No system can be guaranteed unhackable, but we apply strong safeguards. Authentication, password hashing, and session tokens are managed by the Base44 platform, not stored in our app code. Each user's data is isolated by row-level security so no user can read or modify another user's records. We enforce single-session sign-in, login rate-limiting and lockout, and JWT-verified payment webhooks. Uploaded images are re-encoded through a canvas pipeline to strip EXIF metadata and block malicious payloads. We never store payment card numbers. Access to production data is restricted to authorized administrators.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; receive a copy of it; correct inaccurate data; permanently delete your account and all associated data; withdraw your cookie consent for marketing tracking; and opt out of marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link or contact support). To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the in-app support assistant. Account and data deletion is available directly from the Terms page.
Stradeify is not intended for anyone under 18 years old. You must be at least 18 to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will delete the account.
Your information may be processed and stored by our service providers in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards to ensure a level of data protection consistent with this policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version is always available within the Service, and material changes will be noted via email or in-app notice where practical. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
